Lawsuits in North America last an average of 17 months with the average value of construction disputes being $18 million! Building Envelope issues represented 75% of those claims.
Building Envelope Commissioning (BECx) is a process that can manage construction defect liability by simply ensuring the performance of the building envelope. This course explains the BECx process and provides “hands-on” training for tests commonly performed on the building envelope.
